We congratulate Andriy Silantyev, Resident Care Specialist at The Arbor Company, for graduating from the Argentum LEAD program. Argentum is the leading national trade association serving companies that own, operate, and support professionally managed senior living communities, and offers the LEAD program to develop high-level leaders in the industry. LEAD stands for Leadership Advancement and Development and takes a cohort of participants through a leadership curriculum ending in a group capstone project.
As this year’s Arbor Company participant, Andriy completed the program along with his cohort, and was offered access to executive coaches and mentors, leadership training focused on organizational strategy and goals, and a program certificate and recognition award. Andriy’s biggest takeaway from the program was surrounding motivation and vision. “Leaders don’t have to just think strategically, they have to think globally, they have to motivate and inspire people, and they have to create a vision that they believe in,” he said.
In addition to leadership coaching, participants in the LEAD program experience accelerated curriculum, attend networking events with industry leaders and renowned faculty, attend live online sessions and engage in peer learning. They are required to complete several independent projects before working with the group for the final industry-advancing capstone project before their graduation.
Andriy believes his participation in the LEAD program helped him develop his leadership skills that he intends to put into good use at The Arbor Company. He says, “great leaders have the ability to make decisions in critical situations. They also help people embrace new ways of thinking, seeing, and acting.”
The Arbor Company would like to congratulate Andriy on successfully completing the Argentum LEAD program, and we look forward to seeing the great impact his leadership will have on our team.
