Capitol Seniors Housing has completed building Arbor Terrace Exton, a new $22.5 million senior living community, as part of a gradual transformation of Oaklands Corporate Center in Exton, PA. Located at 100 Oakland Blvd. the 78,032-square-foot building has a total of 88 senior apartments--with 26 dedicated to memory care services. Because it was built during the pandemic, the design firm, Meyer Design, was able to implement health and safety precautions to enhance the features of the building. In addition to resort-like amenities and interior spaces, Arbor Terrace boasts antimicrobial surfaces, touchless doors, advanced filtration, furniture that is easily cleaned and rearranged, in addition to open outdoor access on all floors of the building.
Though the pandemic brought a host of challenges to the senior living industry, the demand for these types of communities is expected to increase as the population ages. Read more about Arbor Terrace and the changes to the senior living industry in the full article.
