Arbor Terrace Peachtree City resident and Mercer University alumnus Clarence “Pappy” Boynton celebrated his milestone 100th birthday on July 31. Pappy was a member of the 1941 Mercer football team, and he also attended the groundbreaking event for Five Star Stadium in 2011. In 2013, he delivered a pep talk to the football team pre-game and participated in the coin toss.
