Our residents at Arbor Terrace Asheville did not let the aftermath of Hurricane Helene cause them to lose their incredible spirit.
After five days of power outages, and the community left without running water or internet, residents gathered together for an uplifting song in the dark. One of the staff was able to capture the exact moment when the lights finally came back on. The residents didn’t let their surprise or excitement interrupt their song!

Like the rest of Asheville, Arbor Terrace faced days of difficulty in the fallout of the hurricane. Our staff is trained and prepared for emergencies, and worked tirelessly to ensure residents continued to receive care—even when their own homes and cars were damaged.
