The Arbor Company is proud to report a drop in the resident loneliness score, according to U.S. News and World Report. Senior loneliness and isolation is a major challenge for senior living communities worldwide. U.S. News and World Report is considered a leading provider of customer satisfaction surveys, and the loneliness score is a key performance indicator of the level of isolation residents report to be experiencing in their communities.
The lower the score, the less loneliness residents report feeling in their senior living environments. While the national average loneliness score is 26.6%, the Arbor Company received a score of only 12%. We are pleased to have such a low score, especially because this measurement improved from last year’s 14% overall company score.
“This is a remarkable accomplishment of the hard work of our team members who are committed to creating an environment that promotes community, deep connections, purpose, engagement, and overall well-being where our residents can thrive,” said Brandi Blizzard, Vice President of Engagement and Training for The Arbor Company.
