The Arbor Company is proud to announce that The Golden Gang podcast has received Argentum’s prestigious Best of the Best Award, recognizing innovative programs that advance excellence in senior living.
The Best of the Best Award honors groundbreaking programs, products, and services that improve the future of senior living through innovation, engagement, and meaningful impact.
The Golden Gang was created to amplify resident voices and challenge perceptions of aging through candid, unscripted conversations. As the first senior living podcast in the United States, the program provides a platform for residents, staff, volunteers, and community leaders to share stories centered around humor, resilience, wisdom, and purpose.
Recorded within Arbor communities, episodes are designed to foster connection both internally and externally. Residents participate not only as featured guests, but also as live audience members who engage in conversations and shared experiences before and after recordings.
“The Golden Gang represents the very best of what senior living can be — human, connected, engaging, and deeply meaningful,” said Judd Harper. “This recognition celebrates the power of listening to residents and creating opportunities for their stories and voices to be heard.”
The program was developed as both a resident engagement initiative and an educational storytelling platform that offers families, prospective residents, and community members a more authentic look into life within senior living communities.
Its success has already inspired expansion into additional Arbor communities, creating a scalable model for meaningful engagement and relationship-building across the organization.
The Arbor Company is honored to receive this national recognition and grateful to the residents, associates, volunteers, and leaders who helped make The Golden Gang an award-winning program.
