Recently, Arbor Terrace of Burnt Hickory was featured in the MKO Kindness Campaign, which ran from January 14th and through February 5th. With the goal of gathering handmade cards from children, churches, local businesses, and other individuals to provide joy and cheer to memory care communities, it also gave children an opportunity to learn more about the essence of kindness by taking the time to craft creative and meaningful Valentine’s cards for the communities.
Since Valentine’s Day can be lonely for many, this campaign allowed residents of assisted living communities to proudly display thoughtful artwork in their space while engaging the children around town with an opportunity to learn more about acts of kindness. These heartwarming interactions made the campaign a true success.
If you’d like to learn more about Arbor Terrace of Burnt Hickory, you can schedule a tour now to see how our community is here to offer independent living and memory care for your loved one.
